Olivia Vaevae
Dear Rosalina,
Sorry for the loss of the people in your city, we hope you cheer up soon as this is a heartbreaking time, we hope that everyone is alright and that you are safe, as there have been over 800 after shocks.
We have heard you are fighting and staying strong through this terrible time, we hope you are safe and we hope for nothing but good for you and your city. We would be delighted if you came to Auckland it such a small, beautiful and quiet place we need more people like you to fill our city even though this country is the best in the world
Sincerely,
Olivia

Mentos And Fizzy Drink
Title - Mentos And Fizzy Drink
Purpose: What do you want to learn/find out?
Which drink will have best reaction?
Which Drink taste the best.
|
Hypothesis: Try to predict the answer to the problem. Another term for hypothesis is ‘educated guess’. This is usually stated like ” If I…(do something) then…(this will occur)
We think the fizzy that exploded the best is … I think it will be 7up or/and
Diet coke.
We think the fizzy that taste the best is … Fanta and 7UP Because it taste nice naturally
|
Materials: List everything you will need to conduct your experiment.
7UP, Fanta, L&P, Pepsi, Coke, Diet Coke,
|
Experiment procedure: The fun part! Design a test or procedure to confirm or disprove your hypothesis. Write down each step so that someone else could do the same experiment.
1.We took some drink out of the bottle to there was room for the mentos
2.We then took the drink outside and dropped mentos into the bottle
3.Let the exploding begin? ( It didn’t really have a big reaction because carbon dioxide was released)
|
Analysis/Data: Record what happened during the experiment.
1st:First place goes to 7UP went about 4 cm high.
2nd:Pepsi, It came straight out of the bottle about 2 inches.
3rd:Coca Cola, Diet Coke, L&P are the same because carbon dioxide was more released.
4th: Fanta exploded inside the bottle.
|
Conclusion:Review the data and check to see if your hypothesis was correct.
My hypothesis was right about 7 up but not the Fanta. We didn’t get to try the drinks after the reaction so i can’t say anything about it.
