Team 4 Market Day

WALT: write an interesting and detailed recount

Last week we had a  team 4 market day on friday aspart of the topic of the term Trade and enterprise. Everyone got to buy everyones product with PTs and peices. PTs and peices is our currency we have 20 pecies, 50 peices, 1 pt and 2 pt.

There are 6 different groups and they are Homeware, Toys, Kitchen, Jewelry, Custom stationery and Musical intruments. For Trade and Enterprise, my group is making food products so that means i’m in kitchen. We are making sweets like Cups of Hot chips. In my group are Tevita and me. We get on well together because we are best friends we also are off task sometimes but we get work done. We are hoping to sell 15 cups of Hot chips. Each cup of Hot chips is going to be sold for 2 PT.

To set up where we were going to cook we decided to set up by the class window because we needed to use the frying pan. We only used 2 desks. 1 desk was for the frying pan and the other desk was for all the PTs and the preparation.

When i went to go buy something from the trade and enterprise groups i bought a badge, pencil label and a sport maths book cover from the custom stationary and i also brought 11 loom band from the Jewelry and accessories, and i also brought 2 ice blocks from the kitchen.

Whan I was maning the station me and my buddy sold at least I think 12 cups of Hot Chips. We had only 1 full container and a half full container half of the chips were already in the frying pans. He had 1 customer miss out because we had sold out really fast.

The market day was very exiting because we all had lots of fun. we also bought lots of things like pencil label a drum loom bands slime and much more. The market day was the bomb.

This week for reading we are learning about timber and Kauri trees. We had to read a story and we had to imagine ourselves in the story and we also had to imagine ourselves selling the item in our story which for me was a piece of Kauri furniture.

Decription of learning

We are learning about conjuctions and how to use then in sentences. It came up with lots of sentences. So we had to highlight the conjuction words betwwen the sentences.

Bean for hire that cost 3pt for a whole day

Walt: pursued the reader to agree with our message.

Bean bags are enjoyable to relax on if you are cold and exhausted.

During class time the bean bags are available for hire to relax on. Instead of sitting on the filthy floor or on a ugly hard plastic chair, you will be ableA to relax on the soft enjoyable bean bag to do your task.

The bean bags are full with soft silk polystyrene beans and covered in a flexible rubber skin. They can be moulded into the 7shape of your choice. You can choose to sit on the bean bag, or use it to lean back on.

The bean bags come in two different colours. A baby blue one, and a light green one. It’s your choice which one you want to relax on.

The price is 3pt. You pay once at the beginning of the day and then you can use the beanbag for the rest of the day.

Remember for 3pt you can relax on a enjoyable beanbag during class allday. ]

For this task we had to rewrite a piece of writing that our teacher gave to us.  I used thesaurus to help me look for new words to improve my writing.We wrote it in a way that is using different types of langugage like using your emotion writing

If I had a million Dollars at the Mall

Walt: write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting words.

If i had a million dollars at the mall to spend it would be a miracle, because then I won’t even need to look at the price tag. I could probably just buy the whole store maybe I don’t know. It would be fun just to buy anything i want.

If i was to buy something from toy world it would be Rugby balls, soccer balls and basketballs. Because I love sports and it would be cool so I can do traning in the holidays I can just grab a ball and start tranning. Maybe I might buy a nerf gun so that when my brother walks in the door I can shot him as a prank.

If i was to buy anything from jb hifi it would be a samsung galaxy s6 edge. Because I want a phone so that when i get older I wont need to buy a phone and know that i have a phone. I might even buy me a 50 inch samsung Tv.

If I was to buy something from foot locker it would be nike shoes and nike clothes. Therefore then  won’t need to worry about having no shoes to wear to school because I have so many pairs of nike shoes. If it was cold and i needed a jumper it would be ok because I will have 2 pairs of nike jerseys.

If I was to something from rebel sports it would be NSW supporters clothes and Nrl teams like the south sydney rabbitohs jandals and the sydney roosters. Because I am a really big fan of the Nsw, Rabbitohs and the roosters. If I wrecked my shoes that I brought from foot locker I would buy me more shoes like nikes shoes, adidas shoes, Under armour and some rugbyboots.

Buying all those things like the 50 inch tv, the sumsang galaxy s6, nerf gun and some new nike things would be amazing fun.  However buying all of that I would buy is not being responsiibile. So assuming that was to be responsibile I would buy a new house for my family and pay off the bills. When I have finished paying off the bills I would by a new car for my family. If I was to buy me some thing it woud be new uniform and some new shoes.

We had to write about how cool having a million dollars would be at the mall. But we were to thing of it as if we were being selfish and not thinking of others. In our conclusion we were to talk about being finacly responsible and thinking of our familys and what would be good for you and your family.

My effective writing about Superpowers.

WALT:write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting Words

If i was to have a superpower it would be highly ultimate speed. Why because i like sports and it might be good for sports like rugby, league and other sports that includes a oval or a round shaped ball. I would probably accelerate through the whole team. Read on to find out more about my super speed power that’s good for sports and running away from trouble at school just joking.

My power is highly extreme speed  it would be good for washing the dishes and doing the chores and other things to help out around the house. My powers would look like a blink of an eye. My fantastic super powers would fell like wind and a air mixed together. Can you imagine you having the same power as me WOW.

What i could do with my powers is to make it into a rugby or rugby league team like shaun johnson who plays for the New zealand warriors or like aaron cruden who plays for the All Blacks. What i could do to help out in G.I. is to save people from getting crushed when a building falls down on to them. If i was to help out the world is to run when someone is being assaulted by a villain or someone bad.

I think having this super power is unbelievable. If you had this superpower would you think this is cool or would you think that it’s not that good. I think having highly super speed that would be good for sports players that's why i picked this super power. We wrote together in silents for about 10-13 minutes After writing we recrafted someone elses writing. In between writing our paraghraphs we paired up with a partner and marked each other work. We learn't to write effective paraghraps by checking it with a partner. We also learn't to use juicy words checking with a partner. We learn't to write effective paraghraphs using juicy words.
