Olivia Writing a Narrative 2

Every picture tells a story. Use your imagination and experience to narrate (tell) a story about this photo.

T	Title - What is the title of your story
O	Orientation - Sets the scene with who, what, where, when.  Captures the reader’s interest.
P	Problem - What problem or issue disrupts normal life and needs a response from the character(s).
S	Solution  - How is the problem solved or attempted to be solved.

Use the following table to plan your writing.

T	The missing boy.
O	One day in a gloomy forest there was a family of four. Their names were Elizabeth is the mum, Jeff is the dad, Naomi and Francis are brother and sister. Jeff and Francis have black hair are short . Elizabeth and Naomi have blonde hair . They all like to make jokes about each other. Francis likes to go wondering around. They went out for a hike in the forest.
P	Then as they got half way through the forest the family realise that Francis had gone missing. They start calling his name out “Francis”.
S	Then suddenly they heard a scream from behind them. They found Francis in a 6 feet hole. They grabbed his hand and pulled him out.
