Solving Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages

This weeks task was to solve a series of problems from fractions to decimals to percentages. It was easy but also at the same time it was a bit challenging.

Thirst - By Paul Mason

Task: Our task was to complete this presentation given to us by our teacher Mrs Ilaoa. In our story it talks about a boy and his sister who is thirsty. Aqua-Plex shows up to the neighbors and puts water into there tank. The siblings are in desperate need of water so the brother connects the hose to the tank and pumps water into there pipes.

ASB Digi-Poi Was The Bomb

The sun was hot on my face as the year 7 &8’s from my school was singing beautifully. I felt pumped because it was my first time at Polyfest.

My highlight of the day was the ASB Digi-Poi. Mostly because we had fun and we got to make our own little group to make a small clip and put it on the internet.

My 2nd highlight was the free things we got like a 2 in 1 mini phone fan and a Mai FM fan, ASB sunglasses,sunscreen, hacky sack and another fan. I liked how my group all got flava tattoos on our right check, I got mine on my left.

My 3rd highlight was the Nui FM limbo game and the Nui Fm duck game. The duck game was the best I got really wet, we had to get 8-10 rubber ducks out of a basin using our elbows.

I really enjoyed going to Polyfest mostly because it was my first time going to Polyfest. I really want to go again. I hope you enjoyed this writing. Thank you.

Title	How to have a fun weekend
Introduction	My mum is my role model her name is Te Awhina A.K.A TA. My Mum means the world to me if she dies i’ll turn grey like the guy off trolls. I love my mum like she loves Mac Donalds.
Information 1st element	My mum is my role model because she inspires me to be the best I can be.My mum helped me to play sports and to challenge myself. My mum said “ If it’s too hard give it a try like netball” I said “I don’t like playing netball”
Information 2nd element	My mum carried me for 9 nine months and changed my nappies for 1.5 years, I don’t know if that is true but I think it’s true. Most people don’t realize that at a young age. All mums have done that in life.
Information 3rd element	My mum is a hard working women both at home and at school, last year she never really had enough time to have a sleep or even a nap. She worked at night being a merchandiser for sealord and work during the day at Pt England school being a teacher aide.
Conclusion	Why my mum is my role model is because when I grow up I want to be like her. These are the reasons why she is my role model she carried me for nine months and changed my nappies for 1.5 years, she inspired me to be the best I can be and she is a hard working women.
